Oil paint on 24" Birchwood round.
October 21, 2021–on a trip to the Pacific Rim National Park, the ancestral territory of the Nuu-Chah-nulth people, one of the many beaches I explored was Wickaninnish Beach. I was struck by the beauty of the area juxtaposed with the endless amount of beach plastic when one looked close. This is just a fraction of the plastic I picked up that day in a very small area.
