Spring Blossoms at Annadale Lane

During the initial lockdown due to Covid-19, many of us found comfort in nature. Nature with it's continuing cycles, provided us comfort when the rest of society, as we knew it, did not continue. This painting was painted plein air, during the second week of the lockdown when all was unusually quiet at Crescent Beach. The cycles of the spring blossoms on the tree at Annadale lane, offered hope and beauty during the first few weeks when everything was so uncertain.
