Seagull in the Snow, Crescent Beach

Acrylic on canvas, 24"x30" The rare times it snows at Crescent Beach, it is a lovely opportunity to see the birds against the backdrop of the glistening snow. Migratory resting areas, such as Blackie Spit in Surrey, B.C. are necessary for birds to rest and feed before continuing on their journey. These areas should be supported and sustained in a time when bird populations are rapidly declining.
